Something we learned at the Summit this year...
Put a bowl of apple slices and a bowl of candy bars out for Halloween and about 9% of the kids will choose the apples slices. How do you get about half to choose the apples? A social scientist made one change: A picture of Batman over the two bowls with the caption, "What would Batman eat?"
Of course, in the experiment it is important to note that Batman was holding an apple, so it was obvious which choice Batman would make...
